Nation of AztlanChicanas y Chicanos of the United States of America are the Nation of Aztlan and therefore dual citizens of the United States and Aztlan. Nuevo Plan de Aztlan unites Chicanas y Chicanos with other Indigenas and with other Americanas y Americanos not indigenous to our Americas. The common cause of Chicanas y Chicanos is La Causa, i.e., Peace and Justice based on the ancient principle there can be no True Peace without True Justice. The Spirit of Aztlan guides and directs the Chicana y Chicano Movement for Peace and Justice. What unites Chicanas y Chicanos in El Movimiento is Carnalismo or Love and Compassion for each other as we struggle for La Causa. La Lucha is our actual struggles for La Causa. Peace and Justice cannot be achieved by Chicanas y Chicanos except through our struggles for La Causa in El Movimiento. La Raza is comprised of multilingual people from all the races, colors, nationalities, ethnicities, cultures, religions and creeds of the world as a result of centuries of assimilation, acculturation and interracial procreation. The source of our unifying power, force and strength as Chicanas y Chicanos is this all-embracing diversity.QUE VIVA AZTLAN!
